Audition for Freshers shows
Freshers shows are open to any freshers and to anyone from any year at TCD who hasn't performed in a DU Players production before! Auditions take place during Freshers week and anyone who auditions is guaranteed a spot in at least one show. Performing in a Freshers show is a great way to meet other new people and no acting experience is expected. Our audition schedule will be posted on this website in the coming weeks!
Shows usually have their own instagram pages where they will post audition information! You can find these linked on our instagram and website when our schedule is published.
Check out our Freshers Auditions page for more info.
PIPs
PIPs are Players Introductory Programmes! Held every semester, PIPs include six weeks of classes where you can get hands-on experience in an area of theatre you are interested in, no prior experience necessary. Choose between classes in acting, lighting, directing, writing, set, costume, publicity, producing and more. Classes are taught by members with lots of experience in these areas, and culminate in a showcase where you can put your new skills into practice. PIPs is a great way to make friends as PIPs mixers are often organised during the year to meet other members!
The PIPs sign up form will be posted soon! Check this page or our instagram for updates closer to Freshers week.
