Meet our DU Players Committee
The DU Players committee is responsible for the overall running of Players! There are 14 committee members elected every year in Hilary Semester who fill various positions, making sure our society runs smoothly throughout the year. Our committee is aided by our wonderful sub-committee members. Anyone can join a sub-committee by filling out the link on our 'Get Involved' page!

Hi all! I'm Jessie and I'm your chair this year, which means I oversee all the crazy antics that happen in this building, and take care of my 13 children <3 (she/her)
Hey guys! So I'm your lovely new secretary Alex, sexretary if you're nasty. My role on committee is loads of really fun stuff like emails and some more emails and I think also emails but get back to me on that. I'm mainly here for admin work and taking minutes but will stick around for the vibes too, and to be Jessie's enforcer. Whatever mama wants, mama gets. (he/him)

Hello everyone, I'm Daniel and I'm the new tech manager. I like long walks on the beach and long get-ins in the dark. As tech manager, I'm here to fulfil all your tech needs (within reason) and to facilitate your wonderful and wacky shows. HMU if you've any tech questions. So let's turn all tech problems into tech opportunities for learning and growth; and let's turn my drinking problem into a drinking...wait, what?


I'm Aoife! I'm in charge of the workshop, meaning I get to help everyone bring their wonderful design projects to life! I'm also the safety officer, so I am in charge of making sure everything in our beloved building runs safely and correctly. (she/her)

Hi, I'm Aimee the Publicity Manager! I'm a big ol' theatre head who likes to fool around a little with the aul camera. My job on committee is to send you the beautiful weekly email and keep you updated on all the great stuff happening in our society. I also make most of the graphics on those (canva is my bff). You'll see me recording the shows once a week, and taking photos at events! Also the Player is my baby so you better read it. (she/her)

Howya! I'm Tim and I'll be your social media man this year. My job is to be as addicted to my phone as possible (that's the easy part), while showing off all that Players has to offer, from shows to festivals to all the little bits in between! Hi! I'm Teddy and I run all the awesome programmes offered here at Players, including PiPS, the re-plays, LEMONS, etc. When I tried explaining my committee role to my family back home, it didn't work and they all think I hand out paper programs to audience members at shows. It's okay though because I love the mystique. (they/them)
I'm Ally, your Festivals & Workshops Co-ordinator! I organize all the lovely festivals that Players puts on (which is mainly me crying over scheduling spreadsheets), and emailing every industry professional under the sun to set up fun workshops for you all! (she/her)
